Safari Lounge Designer Classes

Success as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer

It's Time to turn your creative Passion into a successful Profession

What if you could go to one place and find everything you need to make your passion your profession? What if you have a helping hand who guides you through all the obstacles you could stumble over on your way becoming a great designer?

Wanna change your Career?

When Monday comes and you hate where you need to go 9-5 or if you feel that you don't have a career but stay at home maybe with your kids it's time to start all over.
In the Safari Lounge Designer Classes it doesn't matter if you are in your 20s or in your 70s - you can start all over and make money with your passion when you have a step by step plan to follow.
If nothing else the Safari Lounge will definitely help you to develop your design skills - you learn how to create digital products (sometimes with color and pencil or your iPad) and you'll learn how to position them to sell them. But you also learn how to market those products and, even better, how to create your own website to have a presence on the Internet.

I get it though - not everyone is tech savvy and not everyone has a super artistic talent. But, to be honest, it's not a big deal. We will develop all the skills you need together, step by step. We will figure where you are and where you need to go - again - step by step so you'll never feel overwhelmed.

About Me

If we just meet my name is Monja and I'm owner of Digidesignresort since 2008. When I first started I just wanted to be an Admin of a big Scrapbooking site - just as Two Peas in a Bucket those days. I loved Photography, it was my main subject at University, and that's when I stumbled over scrapbooking and was hooked! I just love to be able to tell my own stories with the pictures but also with just my pencil - or my computer. Personally, I'm a huge fan of hybrid scrapbooking because it allows me to print out the scrapbook papers and embellishments I created.

Somewhere in 2006 or 2007 I also became an illustrator and graphic designer. I taught myself with the help of books, videos and the community college in a nearby town Photoshop since 2000 and loved it ever since. Today I also use Procreate on my iPad, Illustrator or Affinity Designer - and help you do the same.
But we will also see that we can just draw something and get it into out computer. For me, that are "two loves" united - traditional painting and drawing with my love for image editing programs on the computer.

What's inside the Safari Lounge Designer Classes?

In this class we dig deep into designing - from designing typical elements you need for graphic sets or digital scrapbooking kits to create your own papers, patterns and textures - in different ways. In the class we start with the the affordable program Affinity Designer. So even if you just want to spend a little bit of money on a professional software with no monthly subscription you are good to go.
We keep going with Marketing where you learn everything I know about selling digital products and especially digital scrapbooking products. With many years of experience I can tell you a few things about digital products that will sell and those who won't and we can also discover a business model which will work for you!
Once you've mastered these skills it's time to create your own website and maybe even your own shop. It doesn't have to be fancy or complicated, actually I'll show you step by step what to do without the hassle.
And if you ever stumble over a problem - I'm here to help.

With these 9 Moduls you'll turn your creative self into a successful Graphic Designer and Illustrator

I can follow the Tutorials easily!

I’ve always dreamed about learning skills, great skills from experimented people, and here at the DigiDesign Resort Safari  Lounge you get knowledge from designers who share their own practice teaching you how to get the best from your software . You watch the video really clear as a step-by-step easy to follow and understand : I am not an english native speaker and I can follow each tutorial very easily!

What is really great is that you can learn everytime you have free time and go back to the video whenever you want! After you think you are ready, you can practice and do your homework…really cool!

The perfect Place to
increase your Knowledge!

The Safari Lounge is the perfect place to increase your knowledge about designing. I’m usually a person who loves to learn by myself, but when I watched the videos and the tips around scrapbooking here at DDR, I discover that many times I used the looooong way to get a specific result!

I'm now a Designer and loving it!

I fell in love with Digital Scrapbooking as soon as I found it on the web.  From then on I wanted to be a Designer and make beautiful kits like the ones I saw in Digidesignresort.  The problem was, where  to begin?  How do you make those beautiful papers and elements?  What do you have to do to become a designer?  I joined the Safari Lounge and found all the answers there.  It was brilliant, everything I needed to know was there.  From how to find free programmes and setting up your CT team to how to make those beautiful papers and elements and everything in between.  I am now a Designer and loving it. Thank you Monja

If I miss something
I can easily go back

Hi my name is Sue (aka DownUnderScraps), for those who would like to know what I think of the new Safari Lounde Classes for learning designing, here it is… I am so glad I joined because I am learning heaps of new stuff and also enjoying the classes. The videos are also great because they really explain things and if you miss something you can restart or pause them when and as often as you need so you can follow the instructions. I am enjoying learning how to use Gimp as I have only used Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.
I am also very appreciative of ALL the help and support I have been receiving from Monja, thank you so much for this new adventure and for all your help 🙂
